One Plant, Two Products: Full Spectrum Lavender Skin Care

Our Lavender Skin Care Oil and Lavender Facial Toner are born out of the same distillation process with our certified organic Grosso lavender. Steam distillation produces the concentrated essential oil that goes into our Skin Care Oil, and the pure lavender hydrosol that makes our Lavender Facial Toner. Though they come from the same plant, they serve different purposes and work beautifully together.

The toner is 100% pure hydrosol with a soft, earthy scent. It calms, hydrates and promotes well balanced skin. Lavender essential oil infuses our Skin Care Oil with the calming properties of lavender along with a careful selection of five nourishing organic oils, to deeply restore and protect. Used together, they hydrate on multiple levels and offer a calming moment rooted in the land.

Our team of estheticians, herbalists and distillers work together to make sure we distill the purest essential oil and hydrosol from our botanicals, advise on product development, and create protocols that incorporate our products into treatments at the Hacienda Spa.

The foundation of your daily ritual

Start by misting your face with the toner after you cleanse, or anytime your skin needs a little refresh. While your skin’s still damp, press a few drops of oil into your face, neck and chest. Using a toner before applying any oil, serum or cream helps your skin to receive deeper moisturization and helps you achieve better results with your skincare.  In the morning, it layers nicely under sunscreen or makeup. At night, it works like a nourishing serum either alone or with your other favorite skincare products.

Tips and tricks

Keep the toner in the fridge for an extra cooling mist, especially welcome during summer. It works beautifully all over the body too; spritz before applying lotion or oil to help lock in moisture. The Skin Care Oil is remarkably versatile: oil cleanser, post-shower moisturizer, a few drops in the bath or a simple massage oil. It is gentle enough for your face, rich enough for the rest of your body.
