About this product

Los Poblanos Lavender Salve has been part of daily life on the farm since its earliest days. Originally created by Penny Rembe to care for dry, hard-working hands, it grew out of the simple need to tend skin exposed to sun, wind and long days outdoors in the high desert.

Over the years, the recipe has stayed exactly the same. What’s changed is how many ways people have made it their own. From hands and cuticles to elbows, temples and beyond, this salve has earned its place as a trusted staple for everyday care. Lightly scented with our organic lavender essential oil, grown and distilled on the farm, it carries the unmistakable character of Los Poblanos.

How to use

Apply a small amount to dry hands, cuticles, elbows or any areas in need of extra care. Use it to relieve small burns or insect bites. Gently massage into temples or try a small dab under the nose to ease into a restful sleep. Try using a thin layer as an occasional facial treatment, applying after cleansing and toning and removing with a warm cloth or leaving on overnight for added moisture.

How it's made

Penny’s original recipe remains unchanged to this day. Each batch is made in small quantities using five simple ingredients, chosen for their time-honored qualities and finished with certified organic Grosso lavender essential oil distilled on the Los Poblanos farm.
