About this product

Our Lavender Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix is delicious, easy and perfectly giftable. Made with freshly milled heritage White Sonora Wheat flour, delectable chocolate chips and Organic Culinary Lavender, our special recipe is full of wholesome goodness. Simply mix in eggs and butter, and you will have a plate of fresh-baked cookies in no time. Keep a bag of cookie mix in your pantry to be ready in a pinch for any gathering or spread a little joy with a gift for a busy home baker.

How to use

Needed: 4 eggs, 1 cup butter, melted

Preheat the oven to 350°f (175°c) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pour the dry mix into a large mixing bowl. add the eggs, melted butter and gently mix until just combined.
Scoop a heaping tablespoon of dough per cookie onto your prepared baking sheet and gently flatten.
Bake for 8 – 12 minutes until the bottoms are lightly browned. the tops may still appear under-baked.

Whole bag makes approx. 36 cookies

Your cookie dough will be more crumbly than traditional doughs because of the whole grain and low gluten content of White Sonora Wheat Flour. Enjoy with a freshly brewed cup of Campo Blend Coffee or pair with the Tea Collection Sampler Set for a thoughtful gift.

How it's made

White Sonora Wheat is a soft wheat with a rich, earthy and nutty flavor. It naturally has less gluten and higher protein content than conventional all-purpose flour. Los Poblanos is proud to be working with the Southwest Grain Collaborative to support a renewed grain infrastructure for New Mexico and revive traditional heirloom grains through regenerative organic farming.

Our organic lavender essential oil is still distilled onsite at the farm and this historic agricultural land continues to be a source for ingredients and inspiration.

We love the lavender in this cookie mix, and the texture is a nice change from ooey gooey.

The crumbly dough was a bit hard to work with but it makes for a dense, flavorful cookie. Will definitely purchase again!
