Pig Boy Willy Famous Carne Adovada Spice Mix brings authentic Santa Fe flavor to your kitchen. This New Mexico red chile blend transforms boneless pork ribs, chicken or beef into tender, savory carne adovada, just add meat to your slow cooker in the morning and dinner is ready just in time. Each bag includes a separate packet of chile pequin for heat control, so you can adjust the picante level to your taste. Perfect for burritos, tacos or served over rice.

How to use

Cooking instructions
(serves 4-6)

In a 5-quart slow cooker, place 3-4 pounds of boneless pork ribs or chicken. Sprinkle the contents of the large pouch evenly over the ribs and pour ½ cup of water over all. Cook on high for 5-6 hours or until meat comes apart easily with a fork. Stir occasionally. During the last half hour of cooking, New Mexicans will want to add the contents of the small chile packet (this is hot stuff). Roll carne adovada in warm flour tortillas for burritos or serve with potatoes and/or eggs.
