The Herbal Bug Repellent Candle is the all-natural answer to seasonal insects and long evenings spent outdoors. This herbaceous blend features citronella, eucalyptus, cedarwood and lemongrass, paired with a subtle touch of farm-grown lavender. Together they create a safe and effective plant-based repellent that helps keep small insects at bay while surrounding your space with a fresh outdoor aroma.
Designed for patios, porches and al fresco dining, it brings a sense of ease to outdoor gatherings, and happens to smell fantastic.

How to use

Place the candle on a stable outdoor surface and light the wick to create a gentle halo of protective aromatherapy. Allow the wax to melt evenly across the top before extinguishing to ensure a clean burn.

When insects are especially active, pair the candle with our Herbal Bug Repellent for additional coverage. Limit burn time to four hours and keep the wick trimmed to one eighth of an inch to extend the life of your candle and maintain an even flame.

How it's made

Our candles are hand poured in small batches using natural soy wax for a clean even burn. Each batch is infused with pure essential oils that reflect our commitment to simple non toxic ingredients. The formula is intentionally straightforward to highlight aroma without additives and to support a healthier home environment. Proudly crafted in New Mexico.

What started as small-scale salve, soap and lotion making to serve guests as room amenities at our historic Inn, has grown to include a robust line of products inspired by the Los Poblanos fields, guest rooms and kitchen. Our organic lavender essential oil is still distilled onsite at the farm and this historic agricultural land continues to be a source for ingredients and inspiration.
